WATKINS PLACE DALKEITH

The villa was built in 1979 and the Interior décor was still as it was when constructed by Jennings Homes’. We removed walls in the kitchen/dining/laundry to make one large room, with Northern light streaming in. We designed and had manufactured new kitchen cabinets incorporating the laundry in the form of a European Laundry in the kitchen cabinets. New lighting, floor coverings and window treatments. The highlight of the room is a celestial window which has a raised roof pitch, we found a reproduction of a Richard Poulsen light which hang’s proudly in the room. The balance of the Interior was completely upgraded by floor coverings, light fittings, window treatments and new Built in Robes. The Bathroom/Powder Room was completely renovated with a New window installed to gain more light into the room. With the exterior we cleaned up the back garden and installed timber decking, in the front garden cleaned up and positioned washed river bed Stones.

IRVINE STREET PEPPERMINT GROVE

We were commissioned by the purchaser in 2005 of this original 1978 bungalow to redesign and renovate the home. Our brief was to adhere to the clients wish list of requirements, space was all important, adding on 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 living areas, parking for 3 car’s. The house is 734sqm under roof and the accommodation is enormous and indulgent. The 5 hotel size bedrooms, 3 with ensuites, plus 4th bathroom and powder. The home is reminiscent of an uber luxurious contemporary hotel, the fit out and design is suffused with cool sophistication and supreme craftsmanship. Our client sold this property in 2012. We were fortunate to be engaged by the new owner (who still resides in the property), to undertake some changes to both the house mainly décor, furnishings, soft furnishing’s, art work. This was important as we had to restyle to fit the new owners style more accurately.

BAYVIEW TERRACE MOSMAN PARK

With this beautiful Hampton’s residence, we were engaged to select soft furnishings, change window treatments, paint the master bedroom, addition of new bedding to all bedrooms and addition of general furniture items where required. The exterior of the home featured changes as we removed the water feature, installed lawn new paving and formal hedges on either side of the boundary, finished off the stone wall, which was incomplete and added new garden lighting.

TOODYAY

We were approached by the new owners of “Glendearg” to design, renovate the homestead on the property. The house was built in the early 1900’s, it had been renovated in the 1970’s to a level not compatible with the architecture of the original house. We renovated the existing kitchen, bathroom’s, laundry, the interior of the bedroom’s and the living room. The exterior of the house needed to be tucked pointed, new balustrade and fretwork to the house. The existing garage built with Toodyay Stone needed to be retucked and finished off. During the renovation, the owners approached us to renovate the workers cottage on the property circa 1950’s. Both houses have been proudly brought into the 21st Century With rewiring, new electrics, appliances, window treatments and property fencing.

YORK TERRACE MOSMAN PARK

The purchasers of this property were aware the property which had been built in the 1990 was dated and needed to be updated. Our renovation proposal included the following. For the exterior, new commercial framed window’s and sliding doors to whole house. Texture coating to whole house and boundary fences. New guttering. Raise roof over the alfresco area and line with regency lining boards, painted white. Electrical layout to incorporate lighting to garden and exterior of house. – new fittings. The exterior was painted where necessary and the whole garden landscaped. The interior of the home included new kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, electrical layout to whole house, paint whole interior and new window treatments. All of the work was carried out by our contractor’s and was required to be completed within 4 months, which was a target we achieved.
